Our podiatry team
Elise is the founder of Fit Foot Podiatry and principal Podiatrist. Elise graduated from Charles Sturt University with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) in 2010 and enjoys all aspects of Podiatric Medicine, with a keen interest in biomechanics, nail surgery, orthotic manufacture and diabetes.
Elise has undergone post graduate training in Dry Needling, Prolotherapy and also obtained a graduate diploma in Diabetes Education from Deakin University in 2015, which allows her to also practice as a Credentialled Diabetes Educator. Elise is a Mum to two young boys and enjoys spending time in the Mornington Peninsula where she calls home.
Helen graduated from La Trobe University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) and likes to treat in all areas of Podiatric Medicine including aged care, the high risk foot and ingrown nails. Helen has also undergone post graduate training in dry needling and prolotherapy. Helen is a yoga lover and enjoys going on hiking adventures.
Jennet (Jenny) Farquhar
Jenny graduated from the Central Institute of Technology in New Zealand in 1999 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Podiatry) and has extensive experience in the Podiatry field. Her passion lies with general podiatry and aged care. Jenny also has great in-depth knowledge of footwear for people of all ages, abilities and needs. Jenny enjoys sharing her podiatry work both in the private sector and public and community health.
Stephanie completed her Bachelor of Health Science and Masters of Podiatric Practice at La Trobe University, and has been working as a podiatrist in regional Victoria. Stephanie has made the move back to Melbourne to be closer to family and friends.
Stephanie enjoys all facets of podiatry, especially diabetic foot care, ingrown toenail surgery, and general skin and nail care. She loves building great relationships with all her patients and loves being able to help people feel and walk more comfortably!
When she’s not in the clinic, Stephanie enjoys keeping fit by going to the gym and doing home workouts, and also by attending casual dance classes when she can. She loves watching gymnastics as she competed in high level in rhythmic gymnastics for 11 years. Stephanie loves watching AFL and supports Carlton FC (go the Blues!), and also enjoys watching Formula One.
Fit Foot Podiatry is committed to providing the most up to date and thorough treatment to all patients in all areas of podiatric medicine. We are conveniently located within the Wells Road Medical Centre with support of local Gp’s, radiology and other allied health professionals creating a holistic approach to your health care.
